Lesson 5 of 5
Reading progress across sessions
Look at a complete run of attempts, not just your best result.
Choose a review window in advance, such as your next ten sessions, and keep every attempt in it. Note the target category, whether you used hints and the evaluation method when available. Compare similar conditions and keep incomplete attempts visible in your notes.
A few high scores can happen in a variable series. Repeated targets, changing evaluators and selective sharing can make a trend misleading. Neither a rising average nor a streak establishes performance beyond chance without suitable controls.
An illustrative example
If two of ten attempts feel striking and the others do not, review all ten together. If you started using hints halfway through, label that change instead of treating both halves as identical conditions.
Try this in your next session
Pick a small batch before you begin. For each attempt, record whether you finished, used help and preserved a clear submission. At the end, review the full batch and choose one process habit to keep practising.
Try a blind-photo sessionKeep in mind: Consistent records support learning. Claims about accuracy need a separate, controlled evaluation.
